Biography

Alexander Valerievich Fadeyev, known professionally as Danko, was born on March 20, 1969, in Moscow, USSR, and is a Russian singer, composer, songwriter, actor, businessman, and former ballet dancer. He began his career as a ballet dancer at the Bolshoi Theatre, where he performed in notable productions such as Spartacus and The Nutcracker. His singing career started as a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre, and he soon ventured into songwriting, influenced by his stepfather, bard Alexander Sukhanov. In the late 1990s, producer Leonid Gutkin coined the stage name Danko for Fadeyev and began working on an album with international release prospects. The resulting album, Данко, featured collaborations with Joakim Björklund and Swedish band Army of Lovers, leading to the hit single "Russians Are Coming". His subsequent albums include Мой Талисман (2001), Дон Жуан De Luxe (2001), and Когда Мужчина Влюблён (2004). Notable songs from these releases are "Малыш" and "Она". In 2013, he released the experimental album Точка невозврата.
