MarÃlia Tavares, born on March 26, 2006, in CaracaraÃ, Roraima, began singing as a child and reached national television in 2020 when she appeared on The Voice Kids Brasil. After that early exposure, she built a stronger audience in 2023 as her covers circulated widely online, then released her first album, Essência, the same year. A bigger turning point came in 2024, when she recorded the project Maturidade around her eighteenth birthday and broke through with songs such as âPalavras de Perdão,â which became the clearest early hit of her career. In 2025, she expanded that momentum with high-profile moves in both recording and visibility: she collaborated with Murilo Huff on âCê Tem o Molho,â appeared as one of the artists highlighted by Billboard Brasil in its feature on the new generation of sertanejo, and was nominated in the Brazil category at the 2025 Prêmio Multishow. That same year she released the live EP Ao Vivo em São José do Rio Preto and then the acoustic project MarÃlia Tavares - Sessions, which included âQuero Ser o Seu Amor,â the song now most closely associated with her name. By 2026, she was preparing another major live phase with the announced project MarÃlia 2.0, continuing a rise that has taken her from Roraima to a visible place in Brazilâs new sertanejo generation.
