Daniel Aaron Rosenboom, born on May 7, 1982, in Oakland, California, is an American musician and music producer. He began playing piano at age five and later took up the trumpet under his father's guidance. Initially trained in classical music, Rosenboom transitioned to jazz and formed several ensembles including the Daniel Rosenboom Quintet and PLOTZ!.
