Biography
Dallas Holm is a contemporary Christian artist, minister, and member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, with seven Dove Awards and more than 30 albums under his belt. Both in St. Paul Park, Minnesota, on November 5, 1948, he released his first solo album in 1970 and formed his own band, Dallas Holm & Praise, in 1976. One year later, the band released Dallas Holm & Praise...LiveâRise Again, which became the first Christian album to earn a gold certification. Led by "Rise Again," a major hit on Christian radio, the album won a number of Dove Awards and laid the foundation for Holm's long career. He continued releasing music throughout the following three decades, earning a Grammy nomination for 1987's Against the Wind and running his own ministry in Texas.
