Da King & I was an American hip-hop duo consisting of Izzy Ice and DJ Majesty. The group signed with Rowdy Records and released their debut single "Flip da Scrip" in 1992. Their debut album Contemporary Jeep Music was released in 1993, featuring the singles "Flip Da Scrip" and "Tears". Despite earning positive reviews, the album did not achieve commercial success. The duo disbanded shortly after its release. In the late 1990s, DJ Majesty pursued a career as an R&B producer, contributing to several notable albums including SWV's Release Some Tension and Rufus Blaq's Credentials. He also appeared as a battle DJ in the 1992 movie Juice. Izzy Ice later started his own internet company and released the song "Milk & Cookies" in 2017.
