Biography

Da Buzz, a Swedish Eurodance/pop group, consists of writers/producers Per Lidén and Pier Schmid and lead singer Annika Thörnquist. Their debut album Da Sound was released in 2000. The group achieved significant success in Sweden, releasing multiple albums and a string of hit singles over their career. Internationally, they reached Number 1 on the Billboard magazine Club chart in the United States with the Hex Hector remix of "Let Me Love You." They also reached Number 1 in Sweden twice with "Alive" in 2003 and "Last Goodbye" in 2006. Da Buzz participated in Melodifestivalen in 2003 with the song "Stop! Look! Listen!." The group announced a break in July 2009 and returned in 2010.
