Lori Reina Goldstein, born May 13, 1975 in The Bronx, New York City, is an American danceâpop singerâsongwriter whose career began as a backup vocalist for artists such as Deborah Cox and Corina. In 1995 she released a selfâtitled R&B album as Lori Gold, Lori Gold, featuring the single "I Likes", which charted modestly. The breakthrough came in 1998 when, performing under the name Reina, her track "Find Another Woman" reachednumber 2 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, establishing her presence on the club scene. Reina's first fullâlength album under her stage name, This Is Reina, was issued in 2004 and included the singles "If I Close My Eyes" and "Forgive", which peaked in the top 5 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in 2004 and 2005. Prior to that, she released a series of danceâfocused singles, including "Miss The Way" (2000), "No One's Gonna Change You" (2003), and "Forgive" (2005), with "If I Close My Eyes" marking her biggest dance hit on the Billboard dance chart. In 2014 she released the single "Forever" with Sweet Rains, continuing her collaboration with the label Robbins Entertainment.
