Biography
Max Clarke, known professionally as Cut Worms, was born in Strongsville, Ohio, and emerged as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and vocalist. After honing his craft in venues, he released the EP Alien Sunset in 2017, marking his entry into the pop scene. In 2018, he signed with Jagjaguwar and issued his debut album Hollow Ground, which earned a 7.2 rating on Pitchfork. The following year he released the double album Nobody Lives Here Anymore, followed by Cut Worms in 2023. Cut Worms opened for acts such as Jenny Lewis and Kevin Morby, toured across the United States. Transmitter album was released on March 13, 2026.
