Claudia Pavel is a Romanian pop singer and dancer who was born in 1984. Also known professionally as âCreamâ, she achieved professional recognition in 2000 as a founding member of the group Candy. The ensemble achieved immediate professional success with the hit single âMergem la mareâ. After performing with the trio DJ Project, she launched a solo career in 2003 with the studio album Crede în mine. Pavel is famous for being one of Romania's most successful singers of the 2000s and for her English-language studio recording Wrong Girl for That (2009). Her discography includes the studio recordings AÈtept (2003) and 48 de ore (2006), alongside the single âDon't Miss Missing Youâ (2009), which reached number 10 in Romania. She received Romanian Music Awards for Best Comeback (2009) and Best Unplugged (2010).
