Biography

Claire Voyant were an American dream pop and darkwave band from Sacramento formed in 1995. The ensemble was established by Chris Ross and Ben Fargen as an instrumental duo before adding vocalist Victoria Lloyd. They released their eponymous debut studio album, Claire Voyant (1995), through the label Nocturne. The group achieved professional recognition in Europe after the track âHerâ was featured on the compilation Heavenly Voices IV (1998). This led to the release of the studio recording Time and the Maiden (1998) through Hyperium Records. The album was reissued in 2000 by Metropolis Records and reached number 29 on the US CMJ RPM Charts. Their recording career includes the studio recordings Love Is Blind (2002) and Lustre (2009). The ensemble disbanded in September 2009.
