Biography

Chloe Slater (born 3 March 2003 in Bournemouth) is a Manchester-based indie-rock singer-songwriter known for her sharp social and political lyricism wrapped in raw, riff-driven soundscapes. Inspired early on by Taylor Swift, she began writing songs at 13 and picked up the guitar, influenced by Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice, Sam Fender, and Paramore. Slater moved to Manchester at 18 to study music—though she would later pause her degree—and quickly became a fixture on the city’s open‑mic circuit. Her debut single "Sinking Feeling" dropped in September 2023, followed by "24 Hours", a viral, stinging critique of influencer culture shared widely before the launch of her debut EP You Can’t Put a Price on Fun in May 2024.
