Moleca 100 Vergonha, a Brazilian electronic forró band, was formed in 1999 in Araripina, Pernambuco. Their debut album A Caceteira do Forró - Volume 01 (1999) sold over 400,000 copies. The band's second album (2001) featured hits like "Você Marcou em Mim" and "Amor e Poder". In 2003, they were named Breakthrough Forró Act. Their fifth album, Explodindo de Tesão (2004), included the hit "O Relógio", widely played in states like Bahia and Pernambuco. The band's eighth album, Sempre Haverá Amor (2008), featured the standout track "Lábios Divididos" a cover of Maná's "Lábios Compartidos", which won Best Song of the Year at TV Diário's Sábado alegre. The accompanying DVD sold over 1 million copies. In 2010, their album Amor sem fronteiras included hits like "Tudo ou Nada" and "Nada Se Compara A Ti", which remained in the Top 10 of forró radio charts for over two years. The band followed with Romance â Volume 10 (2011), Sobrevivo Desse Amor â Volume 11 (2012) and the 15th-anniversary releases Tour 15 Anos â Edição Especial â Ao Vivo and 15 Anos (2014), while a later phase reunited historic vocalist Dão Lopes with Jairo Raniery and Kelly Freitas and led to new recordings, compilations such as Uma História de Sucesso and digital singles into the mid-2020s, keeping the Moleca 100 Vergonha name present on Brazilâs forró circuit.
