Ramone Johnson, known professionally as Cashis, is an American rapper born on October 10, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. Johnson began rapping at twelve years old and recorded a first professional song at fourteen. At seventeen, Johnson participated in battles around Los Angeles and Orange County under the name Lil Ramone. In 2006, Johnson gained attention after appearing on the Shady Records compilation album Eminem Presents: The Re-Up (2006), performing on the single "You Don't Know" alongside Eminem, 50 Cent, and Lloyd Banks. The debut EP, The County Hound EP (2007), was released on May 22, 2007, and peaked at number 106 on the Billboard 200 chart. Johnson's first independent studio album, The Art of Dying (2012), was released on October 30, 2012, and featured collaborations with Rick Ross, Game, K-Young, and Royce da 5'9". Subsequent releases include the albums The County Hound 2 (2013) and Euthanasia (2014).
