Carina Round, born in April 1979 in Wolverhampton, is a British singer and songwriter from Wolverhampton. Round's breakthrough came in the summer of 1996 when she performed at an acoustic club in Wolverhampton, leading to support slots with artists like David Gray and Ryan Adams. Her debut album The First Blood Mystery was released in 2001 via Animal Noise. In 2003, she released her second album The Disconnection, which featured a photograph by Anoushka Fisz. Round moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and produced Slow Motion Addict with Glen Ballard, released in the US in 2007. She collaborated on various projects, including Puscifer's Conditions of My Parole tour and sang on Justin Rutledgeâs album Valleyheart. In 2012, Round released Tigermending, produced by Dan Burns, featuring collaborations with Dave Stewart and Billy Corgan.
