Aidan Alexander Hawken, also known as Aidan Hawken, born on November 5, 1975, in San Anselmo, California, is an American singer-songwriter. In 1995, Hawken formed the band Highwater Rising with guitarist JJ Wiesler and keyboardist Jason Borger. Their album, The In Between, was released in 2003 and featured songs licensed for various TV shows, including MTV's The Real World and HBO's Sex and the City. In 2005, Hawken moved to Los Angeles and released his debut solo album, Pillows & Records, which won Best of iTunes Independent Music in 2006. He made his television debut performing "Somebody Else" on ABCâs show Wildfire that same year. In 2013, Hawken's song "Walking Blind" from the EP of the same name was featured on TNTâs series Major Crimes.
