Los Caligaris, an Argentine musical group, was formed on August 24, 1997, in Córdoba by brothers MartÃn and Diego Pampiglione. The band's name honors a famous clown named Caligari who died during his performance. Los Caligaris' early breakthrough came with their second demo, Demo gracia, which gained them radio airplay through Negro Videla. In 2002, they released their debut album, Yernos Perfectos, featuring the hit single "Nadie es perfecto", which topped national charts and propelled the band to popularity. Los Caligaris continued with albums like Grasas Totales (2004), nominated for Best Pop Album at the Premios Carlos Gardel. The band's success led to nominations in multiple categories at the Premios Carlos Gardel and a Konex Diploma of Merit in 2006. Their subsequent albums, including No Es Lo Que Parece (2007) and Transpirando AlegrÃa (2009), featured collaborations with notable artists such as Cacho Buenaventura.
