Biography

Calabrese, an American rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, was formed by brothers Jimmy Calabrese on bass and vocals, Bobby Calabrese on guitar and vocals, and Davey Calabrese on drums. Their early influences included bands like the Damned, Black Flag, and the Misfits. In 2003, they self-released their debut EP Midnight Spookshow, which garnered positive reviews from underground publications. The band's first full-length album, 13 Halloweens, was released in 2005 through their own label, Spookshow Records. Subsequent albums included The Traveling Vampire Show (2007), III: They Call Us Death (2010), and Dayglo Necros (2012). In 2022, Jimmy Calabrese left the band to retire, and in 2024, Argyle Goolsby joined as his replacement. Calabrese also released the EP, No Return from Darkness, in 2025.
