Biography
Brutha was an American R&B and soul group formed in 2002 in the United States. The ensemble consisted of the brothers Anthony Harrell, Cheyenne Harrell, Grady Harrell III, Jacob Harrell, and Jared Overton. They were revealed in 2003 when the musician Brian McKnight introduced them on the Soul Train Holiday Special. Their professional career was documented in the television series Brothers to Brutha (2008). Their debut album, Brutha (2008), reached number 15 on the US R&B albums chart and featured the single âI Can't Hear the Musicâ (2008). In 2011, the members Jacob and Cheyenne established the duo Jake & Papa. The group became inactive in 2011.
