Kim Minha, better known by his stage name BrokenTeeth, is a South Korean shoegaze musician born on February 28, 1999. His music journey began with the release of his debut album The Letters (í¸ì§) in 2021, which gained attention after being featured on YouTube. In February 2022, BrokenTeeth released the single "Paradox (ë¹ì ì ì¬ëì´ ë íë³µí기를)" and joined the collective Digital Dawn, which includes artists like Parannoul and Asian Glow. Together, they held a concert in September 2022, marking his growing presence in the indie scene. In December 2022, BrokenTeeth dropped the single "Heaven Express (again)", featuring Della Zyr. His second studio album, How to Sink Slowly (ì¶ë½ì ì²ì²í), was released on February 23, 2023, receiving positive reviews for its ethereal shoegaze sound. Critics praised the album for its depth and emotional resonance, with Sputnikmusic highlighting its ambivalence and beauty. Throughout 2023, BrokenTeeth performed at various concerts, including a show with Byul.org and Parannoulâs After the Night concert, further establishing himself in South Korea's indie music scene.
