Vocalist/bassist Moon Sung-nam, guitarist Jung Jae-oo, and drummer Gang Moon-chul formed the South Korean rock band Every Single Day in 1997. Originally based in Busan, South Korea, the band relocated to Seoul in 1999 and released the debut album Broken Street later that year. Gang Moon-chul left the lineup in 2000 and was replaced by drummer Choi Seung-won, who made his debut on the band's first EP, Happy Birthday, in 2001. A second full-length album, Every Single Day, followed in 2004. After releasing Tom's Diary in 2007, Choi Seung-won left the band and was replaced by the band's third drummer, Yoo Hyo-jun. The Bright Side, Every Single Day's fourth album, was released in 2008. During the 2010s, the band began writing music for a string of South Korean TV series, beginning with the program Pasta in 2010 and continuing with My Princess in 2011. Every Single Day also released a fifth album, the gold-certified Moment, in 2011, then contributed music to more than a half-dozen shows â including I Can Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio, and The Time We Were Not In Love â between 2012 and 2015. Another studio, Nothing of It, also arrived in 2015, along with an EP entitled Lucky Day. Every Single Day spent the rest of the decade focusing on soundtrack work, with songs appearing in TV shows like Because This Is My First Life and Still 17.
