Bobby Oroza was born in Helsinki to a Bolivian mother and a Finnish father, growing up in a multicultural neighborhood where music was central to his upbringing. His fatherâs jam sessions exposed him to jazz, inspiring him to pick up the guitar. He first studied Django Reinhardt, later exploring flamenco and Brazilian styles, shaping his distinct sound. Teaming up with Cold Diamond & Mink, Oroza crafted his signature blend of soul, boom-bap, and poetic lyricism. His debut album This Love became a establishing him as a unique voice in contemporary soul music.
