Bluepaprika is a Korean modern rock band consisting of four members: Lee Wonyoung (vocals and guitar), Seong Kihoon (drums), Kang Mingyu (bass), and Moon Youngseok (guitar). They debuted in May 2013 with the EP Midnight Song. In April 2014, they released their first full album, Longest Night, which features a steady, reliable sound that remains enjoyable over time. The album showcases a range of genres—from blues, which is Bluepaprika’s signature, to modern rock, garage rock, and retro-inspired pop—highlighting their role in pioneering Korea’s young blues scene. They also released singles like "Good Night" (2015), "Come To Me Like Spring" (2015), "Wings" (2016), "Just Wind" (2020), and "A Letter Written on Snow" (2023). Additionally, their Live At The Recording Studio album captures the vivid energy of their live performances. In October 2017, they released their first mini-album Same Time, Different Night, a collection of five distinctive songs centered around the theme of love. They continued releasing singles, and in August 2023, after about six years, they released the EP Serenade, expressing a simple yet special love. About two years later, on October 1, 2025, they released the single "I'm Right Here," which debuted at number one on Melon’s Top 500 chart on the day of its release.
