Biography

Having become Slum Village's resident producer with just one mixtape to his name, Curtis Cross made a meteoric entry into the rap world in 2002. After teaming up with Young RJ (under the name B.R. Gunna), the rapper took the name Black Milk for his solo productions. The Sound of the City mixtape (2005) was followed by Popular Demand (2006). Black Milk was compared to the late J Dilla (Jay Dee) when Tronic was released in 2008. Two years later, he joined his live band on Album of the Year.
