Billie Myers, born on 14 June 1971 in Coventry, England, is a British singer and songwriter known for her work in pop-rock, soul music, and soul-pop. Her debut album, Growing, Pains-for which she wrote or co-wrote all of the songs-was released in November 1997 and achieved gold status, largely due to the success of its first single "Kiss the Rain". The song entered the UK Singles Chart at number four and reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, sticking around for 31 weeks on the chart. It was also featured in the hit television series Dawson's Creek. In June 2000, she released her second album, Vertigo, featuring the single "Am I Here Yet? (Return to Sender)" and its dance remix reached number one on the dance charts. In 2005, she released the single "Just Sex" for the Artemis Records' Star Struck compilation album. She released her third album, Tea & Sympathy, in March 2013.
