Los Suaves, a Spanish hard rock band formed in Orense, Galicia, was established in 1979 by brothers Yosi, Charly, and Javier DomÃnguez. They began performing in 1981 and gained early recognition as teloneers for The Ramones in La Coruña. Their debut album Esta vida me va a matar was released in 1982 under the independent label Edigal. Los Suaves' breakthrough came with their third album Ese dÃa piensa en mÃ, which led to national recognition and the live album Suave es la noche. The band's sound evolved with the addition of Alberto Cereijo, who brought a heavier metal influence. Notable albums include Maldita sea mi suerte (1991), Santa Compaña (1994). They achieved significant success, selling over two million records by 2014 and performing as opening acts for The Rolling Stones in Santiago de Compostela in 1999.
