Zhou Bichang, commonly known as Bibi Zhou, was born on July 26, 1985, in Changsha, Hunan, China, and later moved to Shenzhen. She pursued non-classical music at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and her early fame stemmed from placing second in the 2005 Super Girl contest in China. She swiftly moved into music and acting, releasing her debut album Who Touched My Violin String in 2006 and featuring in Chinese films like McDull, the Alumni and The 601st Phone Call. Over the years, Zhou has won several awards, including the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Worldwide Act in 2014 and the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Chinese Act in 2015. She also ventured into fashion and continued to release music, such as her albums Now and Wow in 2007 and Unlock in 2013. Zhou remains influential in the music industry, participating as a vocal judge on shows like The Next Top Bang. In 2024, she has released two new albums, Have a Nice Day and Have a Good Night.
