Born on 29 September 1992 in Shaoyang, Hunan, Charlie Zhou Shen is an award-winning Chinese singer known as Charlie Zhou and Zhou Shen who trained in the Italian form of bel canto singing at the Lviv National Musical Academy in Ukraine. After returning home he took part in The Voice of China TV talent show in 2014, where he was eliminated in the seventh episode. He followed this with a guest appearance on The Voice UK in London in 2015. A year later he released his best-selling single, "Big Fish." 2017 saw the release of his debut album, Deep Deep, and a year later he went out on his first tour, followed by a second tour in 2019.
