Biography

Bent Knee is an American art rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2009 by guitarist Ben Levin and vocalist Courtney Swain while they were students at Berklee College of Music. Their debut album, Bent Knee, was self-released in 2011, followed by Shiny Eyed Babies in 2014. In late 2015, the band signed with Cuneiform Records and released their third album, Say So, in 2016. In April 2017, they signed with Inside Out Music and released Land Animal in June 2017. Notable songs from this period include "These Hands," an early mix of which was used as free content for Rock Band 4 Rivals in March 2017. In October 2019, Bent Knee released their fifth album, You Know What They Mean, also with Inside Out Music.
