The granddaughter of a country singer, Bellah Mae was born in England on February 10, 2002. She learned to play guitar at the age of eleven and released her first song six years later. Noticed by Dolly Parton's manager, Danny Nozell, she found success on social networks with the track "Boyfriend of the Year", which became a viral hit in 2022. The song, written with her songwriter and collaborator Josh Breaks, was followed by other acclaimed tracks such as "Drama King" and "On Purpose (For My Future Daughter)" in 2023, which were also included on the EP With All Due Disrespect. In 2024, "Compatible", "2053 " and "Hell & Never Back" precede the release of the Never Waste a Heartbreak EP, which reaches No. 97 in the UK download charts. In 2025, Bellah Mae releases the singles "Bad Day to My Ex" and "Sting", which reaches #7 in the Melon Overseas Top 500 in South Korea.
