Catrina Keri Oluwaseun Burns-Temison, professionally known as Cat Burns, is an English singer-songwriter from Streatham, London. She got her start as a busking musician and later released her debut EP Adolescent in 2016, garnering the attention of several media outlets. After graduating from school, she released a second EP titled Naive (2019) and continued to grow her fanbase through a steady social media presence and a series of festival appearances. In 2022, Cat Burns broke into the mainstream with the sleeper hit "Go," which climbed to number 3 on the Official UK Singles Chart and became quite popular in German-speaking countries, reaching number 82 in Germany, number 60 in Austria, and number 21 in Switzerland. The track was included in her third extended play Emotionally Unavailable, released later that year. Preceded by singles like "Sleep at Night" and "Live More & Love More," her highly anticipated studio debut Early Twenties finally hit the shelves in July 2024 and peaked at number 7 in UK charts. Following a duet with Rachel Chinouriri on "Even" later that year, she recorded a cover of Wheatus' "Teenage Dirtbag", before working on her sophomore album How to Be Human, released in October 2025 and featuring singles "Girls!", "All This Love", "Lavender", and "There's Just Something About Her".
