Biography

Bedrock, a British electronic music duo comprising John Digweed and Nick Muir, formed in England in 1992. Their early breakthrough came with the release of their debut single "For What You Dream Of" in 1993, which was featured in the film Trainspotting. The duo continued to gain traction with subsequent releases such as "Set In Stone / Forbidden Zone"(1997), "Heaven Scent" (1999) — featured in the film Groove — and "Voices" (2000). These singles all reached the UK Singles Chart, establishing Bedrock as a notable force in the electronic music scene. In 1999, they founded Bedrock Records, their own label, and released tracks including "Heaven Scent" (1999) and "Voices" (2000). They also composed the soundtrack for the MTV cartoon drama Spider-Man in 2003, which was tied into the 2002 blockbuster film as a promotion. Their releases also include the Forge (EP - 2003). Bedrock has also remixed works by artists such as Humate, New Order, Way Out West, Evolution, Satoshi Tomiie, The Orb, and Underworld.
