Deepsky, an electronic music group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was formed in 1995 by J. Scott G. and Jason Blum following the dissolution of their previous band Q. Their breakthrough came with "Stargazer", a single released in 1997 under Fragrant Music. Deepsky's first full-length album, In Silico, was released in 2002 through Kinetic Records, marking a shift towards progressive sounds. The group gained additional visibility with remixes for artists like Madonna and Seal, achieving No. 1 positions on Billboard's dance charts with their remixes of "Hollywood" and "Die Another Day". Following the closure of Kinetic Records, Deepsky released singles such as "Ghost" (2006), which reached the top 20 on both the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play and Hot Dance Airplay charts in early 2007
