Biography

Banda XXI, a quartet group, was formed in Río Cuarto, Córdoba, in 1998. The band originated when Miguel "Conejito" Alejandro decided to focus on production and assembled the initial lineup, including Marcos Gómez and Walter Romero. Their debut album, Los verdugos de la mufa, released in 1999, marked their breakthrough, followed with a live performance on November 10, 1999, in Río Cuarto. The album achieved gold status due to its success in the south of Córdoba and performances in Buenos Aires. Banda XXI continued releasing albums such as La fiesta sigue encendida (2000) and Y sigue la gozadera (2001). They won multiple Best Quarter Album from Gardel Awards for their albums, including 7 Años in 2007 and Bien Arriba in 2015. The band celebrated their 15th anniversary with a show at Luna Park Stadium in 2014.
