Known for her thematic compilations and her role as sound illustrator for her husband Thierry Ardisson, Béatrice Ardisson was born in Auch, Gers, on July 26, 1963. She first worked as a stylist for Kenzo under her maiden name Béatrice Loustalan. Her passion for fashion and clubbing led her to meet host and producer Thierry Ardisson, whom she married on April 2, 1988. At the end of the 1990s, she began to devote herself to musical illustration for the TV show Paris Dernière. La Musique de Paris Dernière Vol. 1 came out in 2000, inaugurating a brilliant series of eight volumes devoted to varied, offbeat covers. Béatrice Ardisson also initiated the Mania series with Cloclo Mania (2003), followed by Rio Mania (2005), Classic Mania (2006), Bowie Mania (2007), Dylan Mania (2009), Swing Mania (2010) and Beatles Mania (2011). She also pursues a career as a DJ, providing sound for prestigious venues such as Le Fouquet's restaurant in Paris and the Louis Vuitton boutique. Divorced from Thierry Ardisson in 2011, she released the final volume of La Musique de Paris Dernière Vol. 8 in 2012 and gradually ceased her music-related activities. On February 18, 2026, seven months after her ex-husband, Béatrice Ardisson died of cancer at the age of 62.
