Biography
Sam Popat has been one of Buddha Bar's historic DJs since the very beginning. More focused on a house repertoire than Claude Challe and DJ Ravin, Sam Popat introduces a dose of danceable tracks in the house lounge spirit. In 2006, he took the helm of Buddha Bar VIII, and in 2008 was entrusted with the new Little Buddha series, more focused on world house with tribal house overtones. Sam Popat is also one of the guarantors of the Buddha Bar spirit, training DJs working in the Parisian club's franchises. The release of Little Buddha 3 in 2011 is preceded by a launch party at the Queen nightclub on the Champs Elysées in Paris.
