Biography

In just a few years, the Neil Cowley Trio has breathed new life into British jazz, breaking away from the conventions of the genre and moving closer to rock. The album Displaced was voted best album of 2007 by the BBC, while the third, Radio Silence, released in 2010, received rave reviews from critics who described it as "post jazz". The trio, led by a gifted composer coupled with a prodigious pianist, is completely renewed on the fourth volume, The Face of Mount Molehill, released in 2012.
