Azul y Negro, a Spanish techno-pop music group from Cartagena, was formed by Carlos GarcÃa-Vaso and JoaquÃn Montoya. Their debut album, La Edad De Los Colores, marked their artistic start. The following year, they gained popularity with "Me estoy volviendo loco", the theme song for the Vuelta Ciclista a España 1982. Notable songs from this period include "No Tengo Tiempo" and "Hitchcock Makes Me Happy". In 1993, Montoya left the group, leading GarcÃa-Vaso to release three solo albums before reviving Azul y Negro with sixteen additional albums. The group's innovative use of synthesizers made them precursors of Spanish electronic music. In 2020, Montoya rejoined the band, marking a comeback for Azul y Negro's original lineup.
