Ètefan BÄnicÄ, Jr., born in 1967 in Bucharest, Romania, is known for his roles as a singer and actor. He graduated from the National University of Theatre and Film "Ion Luca Caragiale" in 1985. BÄnicÄ's music career began with Un actor, un rock'n'roll (1992) and Te rock... frumos (1996). His album ÃmpreunÄ was released in 2007. He moderated the Romanian version of Strictly Come Dancing, Dansez pentru tine, from its third season onwards, which aired entirely on PRO TV. The show achieved notable success with an average market share of 7.7% per episode in 2008. BÄnicÄ later moved to Antena 1 to host Dancing on Ice and be a jury member for X Factor România, a role he has held since 2014.
