M.ILL.ION is a Swedish melodic hard rock band formed in 1989 by B.J Laneby. The groupâs music includes elements of classic rock and melodic metal. Their debut album, No. 1 (1992), was followed by releases including We, Ourselves & Us (1994) and Detonator (2001). The album Sane & Insanity (2011) reached the Number 1 position on the U.S. Import chart. M.ILL.ION has performed at festivals including the Sweden Rock Festival and Hard Rock Hell and performed with acts including Magnum and Nazareth. In 2014, Laneby experienced a health issue that paused the bandâs activity. The group reunited in 2020 and released the album Back on Track (2021).
