Anthony Clemons Jr. (September 26, 1991) is an American R&B singer and performer, who jumped to fame with his effortless falsetto on Kanye Westâs âAll Mine.â Hailing from Willingboro, New Jersey, he began performing at family events from a very young age and developed an interest in songwriting after his parentsâ divorce. In hopes of advancing his music career, he began flying regularly to Los Angeles in 2016 to do some networking in the cityâs thriving music industry. There, he connected with songwriter Ryan Toby, who helped him land co-writing credits on Luke Jamesâ 2017 single âDrip.â In 2018, a demo of âAll Mine,â a collaboration between Ant Clemons and singer Jeremih, reached the hands of Kanye West and eventually made it into the rapperâs eighth album, Ye. The song peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and exposed the singer to a wider audience, prompting an invitation by West to work on Teyana Taylorâs sophomore effort, K.T.S.E., released that same year. The partnership between Ant Clemons and the Chicago rapper continued on Jesus Is King (2019) and helped the New Jersey native to secure collaborations with top-tier artists such as Beyoncé, Skrillex, and Camila Cabello. Happy 2 Be Here, his official debut, arrived in 2020 and featured guest spots by Ty Dolla $ign, Timbaland, and Pharrell Williams. It also earned a nomination at the 63rd Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album. Ant Clemons ended the year with bang, dropping the Justin Timberlake collaborative track âBetter Days,â which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 94, and performing at the inauguration of president Joe Biden in January 2021. After expanding his profile with a high-visibility performance of âBetter Daysâ alongside Justin Timberlake during the 2021 U.S. presidential inauguration, Ant Clemons kept building on the momentum of his Grammy-nominated debut by issuing HAPPY 2 BE HERE (Anniversary Edition) in 2021, framing the reissue era with releases like âSectionâ featuring Kehlani and a live version of âBetter Days.â In 2022, he leaned further into sleek, radio-ready R&B with the EP 4Play, while also staying active as a featured vocalist, including on Robert Glasperâs âHeavenâs Hereâ from Black Radio III, and on collaborative cuts such as âWait for Meâ with Goody Grace in the same period. Ant Clemonsâ link to the modern jazz-soul circuit continued in 2023 when he appeared on âInsane,â credited to Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, and Dinner Party, reinforcing his crossover value between contemporary R&B hooks and live-instrument groove. In 2025, Clemons returned to front-and-center releases with singles including âCash To Burnâ and âUh Uh Uh,â culminating in the album Happy 2 Be Here with You, which was followed by the EP 4Play II in January 2026.
