Biography

Annotations of an Autopsy (AOAA) is an English death metal band from Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, formed in 2006. The group released a 2006 demo before issuing their debut EP Welcome to Sludge City in 2007. Their first full-length studio album, Before The Throne Of Infection (2008), brought them wider recognition and led to touring across Europe, including appearances at the Download Festival and participation in the Summer Slaughter Tour 2008. In 2010, they released their second album, II: The Reign of Darkness, which was supported by promotional music videos including âBone Crown.â After further activity including lineup changes, the band went on indefinite hiatus around 2013. They later reunited in 2018 and released the EP World of Sludge in 2019.
