Anne Lise GjÃ¸stÃ¸l, born on July 6, 1952 in Oslo, Norway, is a singer, actress, and visual artist. She began her music career with the single "NÃ¥ er karnevalet over" in 1965. Her debut album Ta min drÃ¸m was released in 1971. GjÃ¸stÃ¸l gained significant recognition during the 1970s when she participated in the Melodi Grand Prix song contest six times. In 1975, she won the Spellemannprisen award. Throughout her career, GjÃ¸stÃ¸l has been noted for her contributions to pop music.
