Angela Vázquez Espinoza, known professionally as Angie Vázquez, was born on January 17, 2001, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. She is a singer who gained initial recognition at the age of 10 when her band, Vázquez Sounds, uploaded a viral cover of "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele in late 2011. Vázquez provided vocals for four albums with Vázquez Sounds: Vázquez Sounds (2012), Invencible (2014), Sweet Christmas Ukulele & Jazz (2015), and Phoenix (2019). She also contributed the theme song "La Separación" (2013) for the film Secret of the Wings. In 2017, Vázquez debuted as a host on the dance reality show Dance Generation and made her acting debut in the biographical series Luis Miguel, portraying Diana Correa. Vázquez began her solo career in 2022 with the EP Recuerdo and released her first full-length album, Uno de Nosotros, in May 2023.
