Aneta Sablik, born on January 12, 1989, in Bielsko-BiaÅa, Poland, is a singer known for her work in Europop and pop music. She grew up in southern Poland before moving to Krakow at the age of 19 to study acting at the Transform Schauspielschule. Later, she pursued cultural studies in Bielsko-BiaÅa. Sablik's breakthrough came in 2014 when she won the eleventh season of the German reality TV show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS). Her victory song "The One", produced by B-Case, Djorkaeff, Beatzarre, and Oliver Pum, reached Number one in the download charts across German-speaking countries. The single was released on May 6, 2014, and her debut album The One followed in May 2014, peaking at Number eleven in Germany and Number fourteen in Austria. Sablik became the first DSDS winner to have their song released internationally, achieving top positions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Throughout her career, Sablik has collaborated with various artists and participated in notable projects. In 2016, she co-founded the Mamy Beat Project with Géraldine Olivier, releasing the single "Mamy Blue" that June. She also performed on DJ Bobo's Mystorial Tour in 2017. Other significant releases include "Popcorn Party" (2015) and "Ulala" (2017), the latter of which she used to compete in Poland's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. In 2023, Sablik appeared on the fourth season of Kampf der Realitystars â Schiffbruch am Traumstrand, finishing ninth.
