Biography
DJ, remixer, producer and compiler, Andy Votel has many strings to his bow. Known for his remixes in the 1990s, he also co-founded the Twisted Nerve label with Badly Drawn Boy, and Finders Keepers for reissues. His thematic compilations such as Muisic To Watch Girls Cry (2003), Vertigo Mixed (2005) and Brazilika (2008) are highly appreciated by connoisseurs. Andy Votel is the author of three highly eclectic solo albums: Styles of the Unexpected in 2000, All Ten Fingers in 2002 and Vintage Voltage in 2010.
