Clammbon, a Japanese musical trio consisting of vocalist/keyboardist Ikuko Harada, bassist Mito, and drummer Daisuke Itou, formed in 1996 while studying at SHOBI College of Music. The group made their major label debut with the EP ããããã¼ã on February 25, 1998, under Warner Music Japan. Their music is known for combining jazzy chord progressions with J-pop and electronica influences. Clammbon released their first full-length album, JP, in October 1999, followed by several EPs and albums including ã¾ã¡ãã³ ã¾ã¡ãã³<2016 ãªãã¹ã¿ã¼> (October 25, 2000), ãã©ãããã¯<2016 ãªãã¹ã¿ã¼> (2001), and id (2002). å¿é (August 6, 2005) and "Rough & Laugh" (2012). The band's name is derived from a fictional character in the Kenji Miyazawa novel Yamanashi. Throughout their career, Clammbon has been recognized for their eclectic style, blending alternative rock, indie pop, and progressive rock.
