Andrew Keoghan, born on October 6, 1980, in New Zealand, is a musician and songwriter. He was classically trained in singing and also plays guitar and violin. His music career began with the release of his debut album Arctic Tales Divide in 2011. Produced by Wayne Bell, this album showcased Keoghan's blend of pop and folk-influenced art music, featuring layered vocals, guitar, and occasional violin through the use of a loop pedal. The album was shortlisted for the Taite Music Prize in 2012. Following its release, Andrew Keoghan embarked on tours across New Zealand and Australia in 2011.
