Anders Ly (born July 14, 1995 in Mississauga, Ontario) (known as anders), is a Canadian singer, songwriter and rapper. He released his first song “Choosy” in October 2016, following this up with his seven-track debut EP 669 in May 2017, featuring the popular singles “Diamonds” and “You for You”. In March 2018, anders released his second EP Twos, collaborating with DJ duo Loud Luxury on the single “Love No More” with the video receiving over four million views on YouTube. Twos was nominated for a Juno Award (R&B/Soul Recording of the Year), with “Love No More” certified Platinum in Canada and Gold in Australia and receiving a SOCAN Award in the Dance Music category in 2020. After selling out his first concert in May 2018, anders released the singles “Bad Habits” in March 2019, “Bossy” in July and three singles in October: “My Side of the Bed”, “Nauseous” (released exclusively on SoundCloud) and “Sticky Situation” (a collaboration with American rap artist Rich the Kid and Canadian producer FrancisGotHeat). In 2021, anders went on to release his third EP Chaos, followed by the Juno-nominated single “What I Like” in March, as well as his highly anticipated nine-track EP Honest in July 2021.
