An Jin-kyoung (born Marchâ¯20,â¯1983, in Cheongdo, Southâ¯Korea) is a South Korean singer, actress, and former model whose career began in the early 2000s. After completing studies at the Theatre and Film Department of Dankook University, she debuted as a member of the girl group To-ya on Julyâ¯14,â¯2001 alongside Kim Jihye and Yoon Eunju; the group gained modest attention before disbanding in 2003. In Januaryâ¯2007 she joined the reâformed group Baby V.O.Xâ¯Re.V, which ceased activities in 2008. Pursuing a solo path, An released her debut miniâalbum An Jin Kyoung on Februaryâ¯18,â¯2010, featuring tracks such as "Bad guy" and "How Gee"; a followâup miniâalbum, Be The Voice, arrived on Augustâ¯27,â¯2010, with singles like "Love Is Pathetic" and "Talk To Me". After signing with One & One Stars, she shifted her focus to the Chinese market, returning to South Korea in 2016 when the Chinese government imposed restrictions on Korean artists. She later served as viceâmanager and spokesperson for the massage chair brand Bodyfriend while continuing acting roles. In 2024 she reunited with former To-ya members for a live performance of their debut song "Look" on JTBC Twoâs Yoo Project â Sugar Man, showcasing her enduring presence in Kâpop history. The track "Bad guy (feat. MIR)" on her 1st mini album released in February 2010 entered Melon's Top 100 Singles MelOn chart at rank 33 the same month.
