Biography

Kim So-hee (born December 31, 1999) is a former South Korean singer best known for her participation in K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance, where she competed as part of KWINs, a trio that emerged as the first runner-up. Following her success on the show, she was introduced as a JYP Entertainment trainee and gained further recognition. She officially debuted as a solo artist on May 21, 2017, with the single "Spotlight," showcasing her vocal talents. Shortly after, on June 1, 2017, she debuted as a member of the girl group Alice with their first mini-album We, First, marking her official entry into the K-pop industry. Her collaborative efforts included the duet "Childlike" with Kim Sang-gyun of JBJ, produced by BtoB's Minhyuk, and the single "Hurry Up" featuring Bolbbalgan4 in 2018. In addition to her musical work, Kim ventured into acting, appearing in TVING’s sci-fi thriller Duty After School in 2022. After several years in the entertainment industry, her agency, IOK Company, announced her retirement on April 26, 2024, as she prepared to marry a businessman 15 years her senior. Her decision marked the end of a dynamic, multifaceted career in K-pop and acting.
